Acer's GN245HQ is the first supporting Nvidia's HDMI 3D solution, making it deal for both gaming and 3D movies.
It comes as a 23" LED backlit screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 100m:1 contrast ratio. Maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080.
The monitor carries HDMI and DVI-DL connections. The IR emitter is integrated in the set (unlike earlier Nvidia 3D systems requiring a USB IR emitter), and includes Nvidia's active shutter 3D glasses.

Green House's GH-USD16K is a 15.6" LCD monitor that's USB 2.0-based-- receiving image and power from just one port, thanks to its low 5W power consumption.
It handles a 1366 x 768 resolution with a 400:1 contrast ration.
One can also daisy-chain up to 6 of the monitors to a single PC.

AMD, Dell, Intel, Lenovo, Samsung and LG announce plans to adopt digital display interfaces like DisplayPort and HDMI to PC.
Thus analog display outputs like VGA will no longer be supported by 2015, Intel and AMD say. HDMI and DisplayPort allow for slimmer laptop designs, support higher resolutions and provide deeper colours than VGA.

Eizo announces what it describes as the world's first glasses-free 3D desktop monitor, the Duravision FDF2301-3D.
The 23" display handles 1920 x 1080 resolution and aims at the industrial market.
Eizo's directional backlight technology produces the 3D effect as it displays 2 different images (combined to form the 3D picture) in a time lag.
The manufacturer says the monitor should display stable HD 3D images viewable from all angles.
It should be available by Q2 2010.
Viewsonic says its V3D241wm-LED 3D monitor is ideal for both gaming and movies. The 24" screen is the company's first 3D-LED monitor.
Framerate is 120Hz with 2ms response time. Brightness level is 300 nits.
It comes with a pair of active shutter glasses.
The model features x2 SRS 2W speakers and is Windows 7 and AMD certified.
