The Apple-Samsung patent battle continues with a casualty-- Samsung loses the chance to showcase the Galaxy Tab 7.7 at IFA 2011.

The Bloomberg report follows orders from a Düsseldorf court banning sales and marketing of the newly announced tablet.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 demo models did show up for the first days of the show-- clad with stickers saying "NOT FOR SALE IN GERMANY"-- but not anymore.

HP will produce one last TouchPad run to "meet unfulfilled demand" sometime in the near future-- despite recently announcing the end to webOS hardware manufacture.

How come? Very simple, actually. We all know there's one thing customers really like-- and that's a good bargain. And following the announcement, HP slashed remaining TouchPad inventory prices to $100 (16G model) and $150 (32GB)...

Now retailers report cases of TouchPads (mysteriously?) vanishing from their shelves, with Best Buy selling Continue reading...

Toshiba will present its Qosmio F750 series at IFA 2011-- describing it as the first notebook range with glasses-free 3D and simultaneous 2D/3D content display.

The F750 series uses the integrated webcam to track the user's eye position-- ensuring the 3D effect from the 15.6" display matches their viewing angle.

Audio is not overlooked, with Harman Kardon stereo speakers and Dolby Advanced Audio.

Powering it all is an Intel i7 2630QM processor, together with a nVidia GT540M gaphics card.
