Razer launches Ferox, a pocket sized twin-speaker set the company describes as a modern day boombox for gamers.

The speakers offer omni-directional sound through strategically positioned 30mm neoymium magnet drivers. Auto-expanding resonance chambers produce a subwoofer-style strong bass, while digital amplification enchances power efficiency while lowering distortion levels.

Loudspeaker output stands at 2x 3W, with 150Hz-20KHz frequency response. Inputs come through 3.5mm audio jack and USB.

Voltaic's Spark might look like a regular tablet case, but it carries solar panels (generating 8W of power) and a universal battery pack.

The battery carries as much power as an iPad's battery and takes 8-9 hours of sunlight to fully charge. It can also charge through USB ports.

Power output comes from 2 USB ports-- a 650 mA port and a 2 Amps "high-power" port. It can charge most tablets' batteries, as well as iPhones and DSLR cameras.

Trendnet launches its TEW-648UBM-- a small 150Mbps Wireless N USB adapter. It measures only 1.5 x 1.9 x 0.7 cm.

The adapter is ideal for laptops. Once plugged into USB port the adapter extends only 0.8cm from the machine's edge.

Trendnet says its device is the only product in its class with a WPS button. Users press the compatible router's WPS button and then the adapter's button, before confirming connection.

Elecom's MR-C25 is a USB SD-card reader designed for laptops and notebooks-- with a twist.

The device doesn't stick out perpendicularly to the machine's side, but lays flat on the side. It also swivels as needed, getting out of the way if it covers up other ports next to it.

It is also thin enough to stay in one place even one slips the computer into its carry case.

The reader reads SDHC and SDXC formats, and has a separate slot for microSD cards.
