Asus ROG Releases Pink Line

Asus ROG decides to get pretty in pink, as the limited edition line of PNK accessories come in fetching two-tone shades of strawberry milkshake and light gray, released just in time for National Pink day (23 June).

The PNK line provides a perhaps welcome break from the tacticool blacks seen in typical gaming hardware. It consists of variants on the ROG Gladius II Origin mouse, ROG Sheath mousepad, ROG Strix Flare keyboard (with MX Red or MX Brown switches) and the ROG Strix Fusion 300 headset. Smart Tunable Weight in Corsair Nightsword Mouse

Corsair claims the Nightsword is the first mouse to feature a "smart" tunable weight system able to track the weight and centre of gravity of the rodent, ensuring the weights within match the way the customer uses it.

The tunable weight system makes use of two sets of weights and six mounting locations on the underside of the mouse. The result, the company says, is no less than 120 different weight and balance configurations. Corsair iCue software analyses the weights in real-time and reports the total weight of the mouse, as well as pinpointing the centre of gravity based on the weights and their positions. Thus, users can finely calibrate more precise feedback.

In addition, the Nightsword features a PixArt PMW3391 18000 DPI optical sensor customisable in single DPI stels, 10 fully programmable buttons, Omron switches rated for 50 million clicks and dynamic RGB lighting across 4 distinct zones.

Acer Gaming Throne Arrives in Europe

Remember the Acer Predator Thronos, possibly the most impressive gaming chair seen not just at IFA 2018, but every other time before or since? This most impressive of thrones is now available in Europe, at least according to WinFuture.

Best described as a cockpit, the Predator Thronos is a gigantic affair reminiscent of something out of a futuristic arcae. Built out of steel, the setup weighs 220kg and consists of a 1.5m tall chair and an imposing motorised arm able to hold three 27-inch gaming monitors in front of the user's face.
