Twelve South presents a means to combine the Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad 2 into a single control surface-- the MagicBridge, a device promising to let users "type and swipe more effectively."

The MagicBridge supports both left- and right-handed users, and has cutouts in the back for on/off switches and lighting connectors. Construction is in white polycarbonate matching the colour of the Apple peripherals, with silicon pads on the inside protecting each once inside the frame.

Satechi announces the Type-C Power Meter-- a device allowing customers to check the power draw from accessories connected to a laptop or smartphone via USB-C port.

The Type-C Power Meter is a pass-through device, with one end plugging into the USB-C of the host notebook or smartphone and the other plugging into whichever accessory the user wants to monitor. A small display shows real-time voltage and current measurements, as well current over time and power flow direction.

Gamevice Intros iDevice Controllers

Gamevice presents a collection of mobile gaming controllers fitting most iDevices, including the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini.

All the controllers feature the same 2-part design customers fit on each side of the iDevice in question. One part of the Gamevice controller connects to the smartphone or tablet via Lightning port, while a Lightning port on the outside allows one to charge the iDevice while playing. When not charging the controller sips power from the connect device's battery.

Controls come in the shape of 2 thumbsticks, directional pad, shoulder buttons, 4 face buttons and a menu button. The iPhone 7/7Plus versions add a headphone jack, and Gamevice promises the controllers offer more comfortable thumbsticks.

Logitech Intros Performance Keyboard/Mouse Combo

Logitech announces the MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse-- a matching peripheral set designed for "all-day comfort and increased productivity" through Bluetooth Smart and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity.

The keyboard is a full-size number complete with cushioned palm rest and "carefully-crafted" keys. It has a slight 3D curvature to help the hands stay at a more natural angle, while the tilt legs in the bottom are adjustable. Logitech adds the batter allows for up to 3 years of service, and the whole thing weighs 733g.

Meanwhile the mouse is designed for right handers. It has a non-slip soft rubber surface, 8 buttons, a "Hyperfast" scroll wheel and a 10000dpi optical tracking sensor. The battery promise up to 2 years of service.

Incipio Brings iPhone 7 Headphone Jack Back

Apple might insist removing the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 was an act of "courage," but Incipio sets to satisfy customers who think otherwise with the OX, a case featuring the humble 3.5mm connector.

As seen at CES 2017, the OX case comes in iPhone 7 and 7 Plus variants. It fits over the Lightning port and adds an additional Lightning port as well as the aforementioned 3.5mm jack for the use of traditional headphones. The case is admittedly bulky, but it does allow simultaneous charging and music listening without need for an additional adapter or dongle.

In addition the case promises to protect the iPhone display and body from drops through a shock-absorbing exterior.

Henge presents a series of docking solutions for the latest MacBook Pro at CES 2017-- including a refresh of the Horizontal and Vertical docks and the Thunderbolt 3-connected Tethered dock.

All Henge docks are designed to easily connect the USB C-enabled MacBook Pro to external devices, such as monitors, keyboards and speakers. The Vertical and Horizontal docking stations have pass-through connections for the Thunderbolt 3 ports, and feature metal construction in a MacBook-matching shade of space gray.

The Horizontal docking station offers 13 ports, with 85W power, support for up to 4 external displays, multiple USB-A ports, SD card slot and more. Meanwhile the Vertical docking station is designed to provide users with instant connection to peripherals.

Griffin Adds to BreakSafe Cables

Griffin expands the BreakSafe magnetic USB-C cable line at CES 2017, with additions including the Hi-Power Magnetic USB-C Breakaway Cable, USB Breakaway Adapter, Car Charger, and Wall Charger.

First introduced back in January 2016, the BreakSafe series features patented MagSafe-style quick-release magnetic connectors, if with the addition of a USB-C connector. As such, the Hi-Power Breakaway Cable is an update featuring 100W power capability for use with the MacBook Pro, while the USB Breakaway Adapter adds BreakSafe capabilities to any USB-A device.

The Car Charger and Wall Charger are self-explanatory products, and are designed for USB devices. Both can deliver up to 15W of power to a wide range of products.

Customers want to add the capabilities of the first Galaxy Gear to the Apple Watch? Glide has a solution with the CMRA, a band providing a pair of cameras for use with the Apple smartwatch.

Revealed at CES 2017, the CMRA band has an 8MP outwards-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing shooter. Taking a photo simply requires tapping a built-in button, while a long press starts recording video. A double-tap allows users to switch between cameras, and integration with the stock Photos app ensures easy storage, editing and sharing of moments captured with the band.

Glide adds the cameras include tilt-balancing, lens correction, noise reduction and pixel optimisation for the best possible photos, as well as 8GB of onboard flash storage. One can also use the CMRA with the iPhone and Watch chat app for Dick Tracy-style wrist-based videoconferencing or sending of pre-recording video messages. Connectivity with Watch and/or iPhone comes through Bluetooth and wifi.
