Cooler Master Launches MasterLiquid ML360R AIO Cooler

Cooler Master presents a closed-loop liquid cooling solution with a 360mm radiator-- the MasterLiquid ML360R RGB, the first cooler with such a large radiator from the company, as well as custsomisable RGB LED lighting.

The MasterLiquid ML360R RGB is similar to the previous M240R RGB, if with a larger radiator. It features a cylindrical CPU block/pump made out of PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) and glass fibre, with a pump using a tri-phase motor promising to produce no more than 15dBA of noise. The microchannel cold plate is in copper, and it features 2 chambers for warm and cold coolant. Tubing consists of sleeved, double-layered FEP (Flourinated Ethylene Propylene) tubes Cooler Master says are both flexible and durable.

Gamescom Reveal for Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs

Nvidia takes to Gamescom to present the GeForce RTX series-- the first gaming GPUs based on the recently revealed Turing architecture, promising to bring advanced features such as real-time ray tracing to the consumer market.

The event had Nvidia reveal three cards, the RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti. The company claims the RTX series offer hybrid capability able to deliver "6x more performance" than Pascal, allowing for 4K HDR gaming running at no less than 60 frames per second, even on advanced titles. To do so, the cards carry RT cores able to power real-time ray tracing (a means to accurately render the behaviour of light), an NGX "neural graphics framework" integrating AI in the graphics pieline and Turing shading architecture to boost overall performance.

Intel Adds to NUC Range

Intel announces the next lineup of NUC mini-PCs-- the Coffee Lake-U (formerly codenamed Bean Canyon) and Cannon Lake (formerly codenamed Crimson Canyon) ranges, with 5 standard NUC kits and two new NUC Mini PCs.

“Intel NUCs are mini PCs that offer high-performance capabilities in a space-saving design and are perfectly suited for home theater, home office, entry-level gaming or as a replacement for desktops when space is a concern," Chipzilla says. "These new NUCs offer a number of new options that will fit a wide range of computing needs.”

The NUC8i7BEH, NUC8i5BEH, NUC8i5BEK, NUC8i3BEH and NUC8i3BEK are based on 8th gen Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 processors (aka Coffee Lake-U), and feature Intel Iris graphics with eDRAM. These are all barebone kits, meaning customers need to add own storage, RAM and OS, and Intel says they should be ideal for home theatre systems, content creators or personal voice assistants.

Wraith Ripper Cooler for Threadripper 2 CPUs

Cooler Master joins forces with AMD to produce an official air cooler for the 2nd generation Ryzen Threadripper processors-- the Wraith Ripper, promising to keep the next-gen socket TR4 processor cool under any condition.

The Wraith Ripper cooling system consists of a dual tower heatsink featuring aluminium fins and 7 heat pipes, as well as a 120mm MasterAir Pro Servo fan able to ratate at speeds up to 2750 RPM and create an airflow of 76.4 CFM. The fan propels air through the heatsink and fins, pulling cool air from one side and pushing warm air out through the other. The result is a cooler able to handle processors up to 250W TDP.

In Win Motorises 915 Chassis' Top Vent

The 915 is an In Win E-ATX full tower chassis with a feature customers might find worthy of purchase-- a motorised top vent, allowing one to open the top panel whenever extra cooling is required.

The 915 features a minimalist design, with an anodised aluminium front, smoked tempered glass side window and "low-key but eye-catching" RGB LED lighting. The curved front panel comes in either black or white and lacks any I/O, since all such features are on the front top of the chassis. IDC:

The EMEA traditional PC market (desktops, notebooks and workstations) posts the strongest growth since 2014 in Q2 2018, IDC reports, with shipments reaching 16.6 million units, a 4.1% Y-o-Y increase.

The growth essentially comes from commercial space, with shipments growing by 8.6% Y-o-Y through the rollout of anticipated device renewals. On the hand consumer space remains in decline (-0.8% Y-o-Y), even if said decline is softer than usual thanks to a combination of back-to-school sales and ongoing gaming PC demand.
