MSI insists it will do nothing less than to "drown all opposition" with a first own-branded liquid cooler range-- the MAG CoreLiquid, a series consisting of four models, the 360R, 360RH, 240R and 240RH.

To differentiate the coolers from the competition, MSI highlights how the pump is integrated into the radiator, a decision the company says dampens the sound of the overall assembly and reduces noise. The pump in question uses a three-phase motor built right into the core, something MSI says further reduces vibrations. Meanwhile construction is in "high-quality materials," with three-layer netted plastic tubing and a reinforced mesh exterior.

Being aimed at gamer customers, the MAG CoreLiquid coolers also take looks to heart. For instance, the CPU-mount blockhead/coldplate offers 270 degrees of mounting orientation choices, and aRGB lighting is present and accounted for. The coolers include an MPG Max iHub for control, and MSI says it is compatible with MSI motherboards through Dragon Centre to control fan speeds, with PWM adjustments and a custom fan curve. It does not give word on compatibility with motherboards from rival companies, though.

MSI is also still to announce when the MAG CoreLiquid coolers will hit the market.
