Lenovo announces the availability of the ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II, an update of the classic wireless keyboard with all the features of ThinkPad keyboards, including the TrackPoint nub.

First revealed back at CES 2020, the TrackPoint II is similar to the ThinkPad Compact Bluetooth Keyboard with Trackpoint, if with a design and layout more in line with current ThinkPad laptops such as the X1 Carbon. However, unlike other ThinkPad keyboards, the TrackPoint II is wireless-only, with connectivity using either Bluetooth 5.0 or 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle.

A USB-C (instead of micro-USB) port takes care of charging, and Lenovo claims the keyboard runs for up to two months on a single charge. It also supports Microsoft SwiftPair, allowing simultaneous pairing with two devices.

The TrackPoint II keyboard is available now.
