Slovenian PC cooling specialist EK Water Blocks announces the EK-Vardar X3M 120ER-- an update of the 120mm EK-Vardar fan featuring removable rubber dampers on the corners and addressable a-RGB LED lighting.
According to the company, the EK-Vardar X3M 120ER is a high-static pressure cooling fan aimed at the highest-performance computer systems. The removable rubber dampers reduce vibration (and thus noise), and while pre-installed for use in push orientation, customers can remove and mount them the other way for pull orientation. Further reducing noise is a "perfectly balanced 7 fan blade design" optimised for high-pressure operation. Fan range clocks at 500-2200rpm.
Customers can create a true 0dB noise setup by setting the minimum threshold point below 25% PWM duty cycle. Depending on the motherboard, the motor and electronics will turn off and the fan stops spinning. Further adding quiet durability and mounting flexibility is the use of dual-ball bearings.
On the lighting side, the aRGB versions of the fan come in milky white plastic to allow for diffused colour lighting. The aRGB models feature x9 LEDs around the fan motor. Lighting power and control comes through standard 3-pin 5V D-RGB connector, and the fans are compatible with all major lighting systems from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and ASRock, among others.
The EK-Vardar X3M 120ER fans are available now. EK also offers damper packs in yellow, blue, purple, orange and red.
