According to the company, the monitors are around the same height as widescreen (16:9) 27-inch displays, providing plenty of screen space for everyday tasks as well as gaming. The two displays are essentially identical, other than the fact the CU34G2 features a 100Hz refresh rate while the CU34G2X is faster at 144Hz. As such, both have a VA panel for deep blacks and vivid colours, while AMD FreeSync support ensures stutter and tear-free gaming. Response time (MPRT) clocks at 1ms.

On the connectivity side, the two monitors include x1 DisplayPort 1.2 and x2 HDMI 1.4/2.0 ports, as well as a 4-port USB 3.0 hub and a 3.5mm headphone jack. They sit on an stand offering height, tilt and swivel adjustments, and feature flicker-free and Low Blue Light technologies to ensure a more comfortable viewing experience.

The CU34G2 and CU34G2X ship on January 2020.
