Gigabyte launches the 2nd generation of Aorus RGB memory kits-- namely the Aorus RGB Memory 16GB 3600MHz kits (2 x 8GB models) promising both "superior performance and upgraded LED modules."

Aorus 3600 RAMWhile running at 3600MHz, customers can boost DDR4 speeds to 3733MHz using an Aorus Memory Boost function in conjunction with Aorus Z390 and X570 motherboards and XMP enabled in the BIOS. The function provides a 4% in read/write performance without overclocking, meaning customers do not need to buy XMP 3733MHz (and spend the savings on peripherals). Gigabyte adds the heatsinks are 3x denser than standard heatsinks, providing superior heat dissipation and preventing slowdown.

The modules also feature x12 built-in LEDs for a extra fluid lighting displays, including a Wave2 rainboy effect one can use in synchronisation with other components. Users can select memory profiles to work with and showcase lighting styles. Construction includes aluminium heatsinks with an anodised hairline surface and a screwless design for extra structural integrity.

The kits are shipping now, and come complete with x2 RGB dummy modules in order to fill all DIMM slots.
