The idea has unassigned, OS-agnostic desks allowing employees to work wherever and whenever they want, without interrupting productivity. Both docks are compatible with USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 devices, with the Pro Dock offering more ports than the Plus, being intended at more demand work environments.

In total the Pro Dock has x4 USB 3.0, x1 USB 3.1, x2 Thunderbolt 3 and x1 USB-C ports, together with gigabit ethernet, Display Port, audio in/out, microSD card reader and 85W upstream charging for the all-in-one connectivity with a Thunderbolt 3 device. It is compatible with Windows and macOS, and supports x2 4K displays or x1 8K display.

Meanwhile the Plus Dock has x3 USB 3.1, x1 Thunderbolt 3, x2 USB-C, x1 gigabit ethernet and x2 DisplayPort ports. It also includes audio in/out and 60W upstream charging. It is also Windows and macOS compatible, and supports either x2 4K displays or x1 8K display.
