Antec Goes for Water Cooling with Striker Case

PC hardware maker Antec announces the "first of its kind" Striker Mini-Watercool-- an mini ITX case with a distinctive open-air designed designed to accommodate water cooling systems.

The Striker chassis consists of an aluminium and steel structure holding a pair of 4mm tempered glass panels. It allows customers to set a radiator up to 240mm tall and 40mm thick on either the side or rear. To add further cooling one can also install one or two 120mm fans or one 240mm fan on the same side or rear locations.

The case supports only ITX motherboards, and holds GPUs u pto 330mm long (and 150mm deep and 60mm wide) and PSUs up to 160mm long. Storage comes at just two 2.5-inch devices, while cable management clearance is up to 45mm. A PCIe riser cable comes included, together with a bracket adjustable according to GPU length. The front/left side edge provides access to x1 USB-C and x2 USB 3.0 ports, plus HD Audio I/O and a power button.

The Striker Mini-Watercool is available now, at least in the US.
