IFA 2019 sees Acer announce an entry-level addition to the Predator gaming laptop lineup-- the Triton 300, a thin and lightweight Windows 10 machine promising "a perfect blend of performance and features."

Triton 300The Triton 300 features a 15.6-inch IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms overdrive response time inside a slim aluminium chassis weighing just 2.3kg. Specifications include an up to 9th gen Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, up to 32GB DDR4 memory, up to two 1TB PCIe NVMe SSDs (in RAID 0) and up to 2TB HDD.

Waves Nx technology offers immersive audio, while the keyboard has zoned RGB lighting and dedicated Turbo and Predator Sense keys. Keeping the machine cool are dual fans with 4th gen AeroBlade 3D metal fan technology, CoolBoost technology and "strategically placed" air intake and exhaust vents.

Customers wanting a fancier 15.6-inch gaming laptop option get the Triton 500-- a machine similar to the Triton 300 only featuring a 300Hz display. It comes inside a metal chassis weighing 2.1kg and 17.9mm thick, making it rather portable, and carries up to a 9th gen Intel Core i7 processor.

The Predator Triton 300 is available in EMEA in October 2019, with the Triton 500 following a month later.
