The Club 3D CSV-1562 is a 15-in-1 USB-C docking station featuring DisplayLink display output chips enabling multiple display connectors, allowing it to drive up to three 4K UHD displays through five display outputs.
Aimed at customers with a want for both multiple ports and multiple displays, the CSV-1562 integrates an ethernet adapter, x5 USB 3.1 type-A ports, x1 USB-C connector (able to charge mobile devices), x5 display outputs (x3 HDMI 2.0, x2 DisplayPort 1.2), 3.5mm audio jack and a 3.5mm microphone input. In addition it includes a built-in PSU allowing it to deliver up to 60W of power to a host laptop.
The aforementioned USB-based DisplayLink controller allows for graphics output capabilities. Two of the five outputs can drive 4K60 monitors, while the other can drive a 4K30 display. Customers can also use the two DisplayPort connectors for a 5K60 monitor. Utilising such capabilities requires installation of the appropriate Virtual Graphics Card (VGC) drivers.
The CSV-1562 is available now, at least in Japan.
