InWin announces a rather unique-looking PC chassis-- the InWin 309, a mid-tower featuring a square cell RGB LED matrix front panel making a 144 pixel (8 x 18) programmable colour LED display.

Inwin 309The company claims the front panel design is "inspired by the beauty of stained glass," which is perhaps a bit of a stretch. That said, customers can program the front panel LEDs via GLOW 2 software complete with customisable functions, a creator mode for own pixel art installations and 12 built-in lighting effects. The chassis even has a built-in mic, allowing the LEDs to react to sounds.

Moving to the rest of the chassis, the 309 is compatible with ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. It has x7 PCI slots, and features x3 locations for radiators, namely the top, bottom (slim) and rear. On the cooling side it also includes x4 EGO programmable ARGB fans featuring tool-less install and x16 RGB LEDs within a translucent silicon frame. The front left edge of the case includes x1 USB-C and x2 USB 3.0 ports, together with an audio jack, LED & Fan mode button and LED & Fan adjustment buttons.

InWin is still to announce when the 309 hits the market.
