Customers wanting to multitask while playing games can get to do so with the HP Omen X 2S-- a laptop featuring a secondary display embedded above the keyboard complete with dedicated hotkeys.
The 6-inch 1080p second display allows for a variety of tasks, such as messaging friends on social media, browsing Spotify, watching Twitch or YouTube videos, or act as a hub for Omen Command Centre software, all without interrupting on-screen action. In addition, users can "cut" parts of the main screen, such as the map, and magnify them on second display.
As for the 15-inch main display, it is available in either 1080p 144Hz, 1080p 240Hz or 4K HDR 60Hz options. The laptop features a full metal chassis, and inside are an Intel 9th gen i9 8-core processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q GPU and up to 32GB RAM. HP also promises a special cooling system, since the CPU feature a liquid metal compound to help with heat dissipation.
The Omen X 2S should ship in European markets from July 2019.
