A Wireless Keyboard from Corsair

E-mail Print PDF

Corsair proposes a means for using a PC while seated on the couch-- the K83 Wireless, a laptop-style 76-key keyboard complete with wireless connectivity, a joystick, two shoulder buttons and a trackpad with Windows 10 gesture support.

Corsair K83The K83 Wireless features ultra-low-profile scissor key switches, making it slim and light. Of course, the joystick is the most unusual addition, but should be useful for game control, especially when combined with the two shoulder buttons. Customers can also use the joystick as a mouse replacement, and the WASD keys are specially painted.

Inside the keyboard is a battery Corsair claims lasts for up to 40 hours on a single charge. Connectivity involves either a 2.4GHz dongle, Bluetooth 4.2 or, in case one wants to use a cable, USB. The keyboard also includes dedicated media keys, while iCUE software allows users to further customise keys, configure Windows touchpad gestures and calibrate the joystick, among other features.

As well as PCs, the K83 Wireless is compatible with a range of devices, including the Nvidia Shield TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Samsung smart TVs. It is available now.
