German PC specialist be quiet! announces a limited edition of the Dark Base 700 PC case-- the White Edition, with a brilliant white finish (obviously) complete with a clear tempered glass side window and exterior RGB LEDs.
A feature video explains how the Dark Base 700 is "one of the most popular PC cases" from be quiet!, and the White Edition is a "little thank you to our most loyal fans." Thus the White Edition is limited to 3000 units worldwide, and each package includes an individually numbered aluminium badge for customers wanting to show off their devotion to the company.
Otherwise the case is identical to the original black Dark Base 700, being a sound and vibration dampened chassis with plenty of space for cooling and expansion. It includes x2 be quiet! Silent Wings 3 140mm PWM fans, and noise-dampening vents provide effective airflow. Users can switch the 4-step dual-rail fan controller between silence and performance modes, and the chassis has enough space for radiators up to 360mm on the top, front and back.
Further details include sound insulation through decoupled motherboard, PSU and drives, together with a PSU shroud, cable routing and HDD slot covers for a neat interior. As mentioned earlier the windowed side panel is in tempered glass, and lighting is included through exterior RGB LEDs with 6 switchable colours and motherboard control.
The Dark Base 700 White Edition ships from February 2019.
