EK Water Blocks for the GeForce RTX GPUs

Slovenia-based cooling specialist EKWB announces high-performance water blocks for the Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards-- the EK-Vector RTX, designed for custom-built cooling systems using the latest GPUs from the company.

EK RTX blocksThe EK-Vector RTX water block handles multiple Turing-based reference design graphics cards. It features a slim single slot design, and covers the entire length of the PCB. A "unique" cover over the block terminal reveals the graphics card model from the side. The cooling block comes in 8 versions, all featuring proprietary Open Slit-Flow micro-channels guiding cooling liquid to the GPU, VRAM and VRM (voltage regulating module), even with weaker water pumps.

The 8 variations combine different materials, including bare electrolytic copper, nickel plated electrolytic copper, black POM acetal and acrylics. Some add standard 4-pin 12V LED strips (compatible with RGB command software from brands such as Asus, ASRock, Gigabyte and MSI), but all are the identical in terms of performance, with the same redesigend cooling engine allowing for a larger surface area for heat tranfer.

The EK-Vector RTX water block ships from September 2018. A nickel backplate follows on October.
