Gigabyte Intros UD Pro SSDs

Gigabyte announces a series of own branded SSDs-- the UD Pro, a line of 2.5-inch SATA 6.0Gbps drives with built-in DDR3 RAM and a sleek design featuring a black and gray exterior.

Gigabyte SSDAvailable in 256 and 512GB capacities, UD Pro series SSDs carry Toshiba 3D TLC NAND flash, a Phison PS3110 S10 drive controller with optimised firmware and a DDR3L SDRAM cache. The components deliver 530MB/s sequential read and 500MB/s sequential write in both capacities, together with 70K random read IOPS and 40K random write IOPS in the 256GB model and 80K random read/75K random write IOPS in the larger 512GB model.

In addition the company claims MBTF reaching up to 1.8 million hours, with 100TBW for the 256GB model and 200TBW for the 512GB model.
