MWC 2018 is all about notebooks for Lenovo, as the company presents no less than 6 examples of the form at Barcelona-- 3 powered by Windows 10, and 3 "E-class" Chromebooks.

Lenovo FlexThe Windows 10 Lenovo offerings come in Flex and Yoga flavours. All feature hinges supporting Laptop, Tent, Stand and Tablet modes (making them convertible devices), carry Intel Core i7 processors and support the Lenovo Active Pen stylus. The Flex 14 is a 14-inch number with GeForce MX130 graphics, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD storage and a battery promising up to 10 hours of use on a single charge.

Meanwhile the Yoga 730 comes in two sizes, 13.3- and 15.6-inch. As one might expect the bigger model is the superior in terms of specs, with GeForce MX1050 graphics as opposed to integrated. It also carries up to 8GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. On the other hand the 13.3-inch Yoga 730 offers up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. A feature common to the two notebooks is support for both Cortana and Alexa, which Lenovo says allows users to take advantage of the strengths of the two virtual assistants.

Lenovo ChromebookOn the Chromebook side Lenovo has the 100e, 300e and 500e models. All feature an 11.6-inch 1366x768 resolution display inside an "extra tough" chassis complete with rubber bumpers, spill-resistant keyboards and resistance to drops of up to 75cm. The 100e and 500e are powered by Celeron processors, while the 300e gets the MediaTek MTK 8173C chip as an option, and the 300e and 500e support pen-based input thanks to a Chrome OS API. The 300e supports pen input from just about anything pointy (including a pencil), while the 500e has a stylus included.

The above mentioned Flex and Yoga notebooks hit the market on April 2018. The 300e Chromebook is available now, with the 100e and 500e to follow on March.
