Sanho Corporation – manufacturer of the HYPER line of mobile accessories – announces the successful launch of its Kickstarter campaign for iStick. iStick is a USB flash drive with both a USB connector and an Apple MFi Certified Lightning Connector that connects directly to recent iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models. iStick allows users to easily, quickly and safely transfer data between computers, iPhones, iPads and iPod touches without the need for iTunes, Internet, wireless networks or the Cloud.
Long after PCs were all network attached the original “sneaker-net” - floppy disk file transfer - continued to flourish, and though the medium has changed - to flash drives - the demand continues. iStick promises to continue this fine tradition. iStick copes with Apple’s fairly closed iOS file system with a free app, which enables the transfer of photos, videos and other files between iStick and the iPhone or iPad.
iStick is still in the campaign stage, but the positive response seems to indicate that the product will be in the market in the not too distant future.
