Arctic insists graphics card cooling should not neglect back sides as it launches the Accelero VGA cooler range armed with "Patented Back Side Cooler" technology helping keep sensitive component temperatures down.
Apparently the cooling technology is inspired by something any child can tell, namely that heat rises to the top. The backside coolers replace the use of heatsinks and thermal sinks, allowing easy installation and the return of graphics cards to original condition at any time.
Arctic also promises better overclocking options for more enthusiast customers.
The Accelero range features 4 products-- the Xtreme IV and Xtreme IV 280(X) (with 300W cooling performance via 3 ultra quiet 92mm PWM fans), the Twin Turbo III (dual-fan cooling with 92mm PWM fans) and the Hybrid II-120 (combines air and liquid cooling).
All the above fit a wide range of Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, and should be available now.
