The Arc Hub by Bourge Design is a 7-in-1 USB-C hub solution-- with x2 USB-C ports with pass-through charging, x2 USB 3.0 ports, x1 HDMI port, x1 MiniDisplay Port and an SD card reader.

Built in aluminium, the puck-shaped device features chamfered edges and is covered in convex glass, making it an ideal companion for high-end USB-C laptops such as the latest MacBook Pro models. The HDMI port supports 4K signals, while the two USB-C ports support USB-C Gen 2 (Thunderbolt 3) as well as transfer speeds reaching up to 115Mbps.

Eye tracking specialist Tobii announces a 2nd generation PC gaming peripheral-- the Tobii Eye Tracker 4C, an update on the previous Eye X model adding simultaneous head tracking.

The result, the company says, is greater levels of control, as the accessory adds an input modality to complement more traditional controllers. Thus customers can pair eye tracking with mouse and keyboard or gamepad controls for a more immersive experience, using their eyes to mimic actions such as looking for cover or aiming at a target.

Tobii claims the upgrade has five "key advancements"-- the aforementioned head tracking, a built-in "EyeChip" reducing CPU load and power consumption from the host PC, smaller and less bright illuminators, an integrated USB 2.0 cord and improved eye tracking quality.

G.Skill announces the Ripjaws KM570 MX-- a "fully customisable, software-less keyboard designed for pure gaming experience," first revealed back at Computex 2016.

Available with a choice of either Cherry MX red, brown or blue switches, the keyboard offers all features demanded by enthusiast customers, such as built-in macro storage, macro recall switch, dedicated media keys and function keys doubling for more via modifier combo. Lighting is also included, if solely in a red colour, but it offers 7 preset patterns and per-key customisation.

Razer announces an update of popular DeathAdder gaming mouse from 2006-- the DeathAdder Elite, featuring an upgraded Razer-designed sensor and mechanical mouse switches.

The mouse carries what the company claims is "the world's best optical sensor," the Razer 5G Optical Sensor. It reportedly tracks up to 16000 DPI at 450 IPS, with record resolution accuracy of 99.4%. Meanwhile the mechanical mouse switches come from Omron, and are designed to offer both fast response and a lifetime of 50 million clicks.
