Sharp Intros Mebius Pad at CEATEC 2013

Mebius padSharp launches a Windows 8.1 tablet at CEATEC 2013-- the Mebius Pad, a 10.1-inch number featuring a 2560x1600 IGZO display making it the highest resolution tablet running on the OS as yet.

It carries a quad-core Z3370 Intel Atom processor inside a water- and dust-proof (IPX5, IPX7, IP5X rated) casing, and should ship with with optional LTE radios.

Aimed mainly at enterprise use, the Mebius Pad features stylus input as well as a free copy of Microsoft Office.

Sharp gives no word if the tablet will be available outside of Japan, where it will launch sometime during Q1 2014.
