A Touchscreen Without a Touchscreen

AerotapAerotap turns monitors into a virtual touchscreen through a regular webcam.

The software tracks users' fingers and their position in relation to the screen to enable gesture-based input. By tapping a single finger, one activates a virtual cursor, while opening the hand acts like a button click.

The software is compatible with the Windows interface, as well as web browsers and flash-based content.

The latest version even recognises one's distance from the screen through the use of 2 webcams.
