Asus quietly launches a pair of low-profile graphics cards-- the GeForce GTX1650-4G-LP-BRK and GTX1650-O4G-LP-BRK, both based on the GTX 1650 being, respectively, standard and factory overclocked models.

Asus low profile GPUs

The regular GeForce GTX1650-4G-LP-BRK offers a boost clock of 1665/1695MHz depending on mode (gaming/OC), while the factory overclocked GTX1650-O4G-LP-BRK reaches clock speeds of 1710/1740MHz (or around 3% faster). Clock speeds aside the cards are identical, being 6.9cm tall dual-slot graphics cards featuring the Nvidia TU117 GPU with 896 CUDA cores and 4GB GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit interface. Connectivity includes x1 DVI, x1 HDMI 2.0b and x1 DisplayPort 1.4 ports, allowing support for up to x3 displays.

On the cooling side, the cards use an aluminium heatsink, x2 IP5X-graded dust-resistant fans and a protective backplate. The cards consume 75W of power even during OC mode, meaning auxiliary PCIe power connectors are not required. As such, they are compatible with entry-level desktops lacking spare power plugs and compact home theatre PCs.
