EK Water Blocks announces a cooling solution for owners of the AMD Radeon VII graphics card-- the EK-Vector series, cooler replacements promising to allow for overclocking capabilities of 10-20%.

EK Radeon water blockAccording to the company, the EK-Vector series allows the Radeon VII graphics card to "reach higher boost clocks, thus providing more overclocking headroom and more performance during gaming or other GPU intense tasks." The design integrates with an existing liquid cooling system, and channels coolant directly over the GPU, HGM2 memory and VRM (voltage regulation module), with a redesigned cooling engine offering a larger footprint compared to previous EK Full Cover water blocks.

The base of the black is in high-grade copper or nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is in either acrylic or POM Acetal material, according to variant. EKWB offers an option with RGB lighting via 4-pin 12V LED strip on the front aesthetic corner, while a plastic cover over the block terminal reveals the graphic card model from the side. EPDM O-rings seal the cooler, and pre-installed brass standoffs allow for easy installation.

The EK-Vector series is compatible with the AMD Radeon VII reference design, and includes a single-slot I/O bracket turning the GPU into a single-slot solution. Shipping starts from April 2019.
