The First NZXT Motherboard

PC hardware maker NZXT steps into motherboard space with the NZ Z730-- a surprisingly attractive number (for a motherboard!) based around the Intel Z370 chipset.

NZXT motherboardAs seen at CES 2018, the N7 Z730 is built out of matte black or white metal, with the only exceptions to the minimalist look being the CPU, PCIe slots, power and other connections. NZXT says the design is optimised for both straightforward setup and easy customisability, while Adaptive Noise Reduction optimises cooling and noise balance.

The motherboard offers x4 DDR4 DIMM slots (max 64GB), with support for memory overclocking, x4 SATA 6Gb/s ports, x2 M.2 connectors, HDMI/DisplayPort 1.2 ports, multi-GPU support, x2 PCIe 3.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8), x2 PCIe 3.0 x4, x1 PCIe 3.0 x1, 7.1 channel HD audio with Nichicon gold capacitors and a 15 digital power-phase design.

CAM-powered features simplify setup and control of RGB lighting and fans. HUE+ digital RGB lighting control offers advanced lighting with multiple presets and custom modes, and digital fan control is included via GRID+ V3 featuring profiles for 9 independent fan channels.

The N7 Z730 is available from January 2018 in either black or white, with heatsink covers available in glossy blue, red or purple for further customisation.
