Cooler Master adds dual tempered glass panels to the MasterCase Maker PC chassis series with the 5t, a mid-tower case featuring what the company describes as "a sharper, bolder look, like a sports car."

Maker Case 5tDesigned for gamer customers wanting to do a bit of travel, the 5t has an interesting addition in the shape of a built-in carrying handle. Built in steel and wrapped in rubber, the handle accommodates builds weighing up to 28.5kg. Also relevant to gamers' interests is a graphics card holder on the motherboard panel easing any excess weight from the card, protecting the motherboard from bending or damage.

The case is built around the Cool Master FreeForm modular system to handle a variety of customisation, adjustment and upgrade options. A controller board provides fan and lighting control straight from the I/O panel, with support for up to 6 fans and 4 LED strips. Fan controls come at high (12V) or low (7V), while the LED lighting can be set with either continuous or breathing effects. A magnetic red LED strip is included in the package. Meanwhile the inside layout is easily customisable by simply sliding the side panel before rearranging or removing panels.

The MasterCase Maker 5t is to ship by end December 2016.
