MSI releases a pair of low profile graphics cards based on the 14nm Nvidia GP107 GPU-- the GeForce GTX 1050 2GT LP and GTX 1050 TI 4G LP, both featuring designs measuring 182 x 69 x 35mm weighting 290g.
The GTX 1050 2GT LP offers 2GB GDDR5 RAM clocked at 7008MHz, together with a GPU carrying 640 CUDA cores running at a base frequency of 1354MHz (boostable up to 1455MHz). Meanwhile the GTX 1050 Ti 4GT LP features 4GB GDDR5 RAM and 768 CUDA cores clocked at Nvidia reference speeds of 1290MHz base/1382MHz boost.
The two cards are bus powered and include a pair of compact 50mm fan coolers. A double slot bracket features DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and DL-DVI-D ports, and MSI offers an optional LP bracket accessory. MIL-STD-810G certified components promise stability, and included Afterburner software handles tasks such as video card tuning, GPU and memory speed adjustment, fan profile customisation and preset recall.
