German PC component vendor be quiet! launches a first water cooling product-- the Silent Loop, an all-in-one liquid cooler featuring a full copper radiator, Pure Wings 2 PWM fans and flexible bend-protected tubes.
According to the company the Silent Loop is both quiet and vibration free thanks to "unique reverse-flow pump technology" consisting of a decoupled pump reversing the cooling circuit. Essentially the system draws liquid from the outside over the cold plate before transporting it through a second layer on the inside of the radiator. The pump operates at 2200 revolutions per minutes, producing less vibrations than other AiO liquid coolers on the market.
Designed for "extremely overclocked CPUs," the cooler is built with black-coated copper, together with a copper base and a nickel-plated cold plate. A refill port allows for proper coolant leveling after prolonged use, preserving continuous performance and low noise levels for the life of the unit.
The Silent Loop comes in 3 variants-- 120mm, 240mm and 280mm, all using a pair of be quiet! Pure Wings 2 PWM fans. The smallest version uses two 120mm fans in a push-pull configuration, the 240mm uses a pair of 120mm fans, and the 280mm uses a pair of 140mm fans. All are compatible with the latest AMD and Intel sockets, and installation promises to be "effortless" through a "well-designed mounting kit."
The coolers are available now with an included 3-year warranty.
