MSI launches a laptop for "the creative minds" at IFA 2018-- the P65 Creator, a thin and light offering complete with an 8th gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to 32GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM.
Aimed at photographers, designers and 3D animators, the P65 Creator is technically a variant of the Stealth G S65, an MSI gaming laptop with a similar form factor. The P65 Creator adds a fingerprint reader, and drops the RGB lighting in favour of simple white keyboard backlighting. A special edition also includes a 144Hz display and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, two features missing from the regular versions.
In terms of other features, the laptop offers a 15.6-inch FHD display and a choice of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q or GTX 1050 Ti graphics. The aluminium chassis is 17.9mm thick and weights just 1.88kg, and includes Cooler Boost Trinity technology to maintain performance even during peak moments. The battery promises up to 8 hours of use on a single charge, and connectivity comes via x3 USB 3.1, x1 HDMI and x1 MiniDisplayPort ports, together with an SD card reader.
The P65 Creator will be available in two versions, regular silver and a special edition in white with gold accents.
