Chinese laptop maker GDP returns to the  handheld console-stye gaming laptop concept with the Win 2-- a sequel to the first Win device promising more powerful specification for better game performance.

GDP Win 2Like its predecessor, the Win 2 is a Windows 10 laptop with built-in gaming controls (namely two analog sticks, d-pad and four face buttons).  It offers 6-inch 1280 x 720 resolution display, an Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor with integrated HD Graphics 615, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD storage and two 4900mAh batteries promising 6-8 hours of power on a single charge.

The body is just a bit bigger as that of the Nintendo 3DS XL, and is built out of ABS plastic and aluminium alloy. GDP claims the machine can run just about any current game with decent performance, including Grand Theft Auto V at 38fps on maximum settings, Overwatch on low settings at 50-70fps and Skyrim at 53fps.

The Win 2 launched as a crowdfunded product via Indiegogo, where it already made over 1000% of an initial $100000 goal. As such it appears to have already found an audience once it shipments start on May 2018.
