Henge presents a series of docking solutions for the latest MacBook Pro at CES 2017-- including a refresh of the Horizontal and Vertical docks and the Thunderbolt 3-connected Tethered dock.

Henge dockAll Henge docks are designed to easily connect the USB C-enabled MacBook Pro to external devices, such as monitors, keyboards and speakers. The Vertical and Horizontal docking stations have pass-through connections for the Thunderbolt 3 ports, and feature metal construction in a MacBook-matching shade of space gray.

The Horizontal docking station offers 13 ports, with 85W power, support for up to 4 external displays, multiple USB-A ports, SD card slot and more. Meanwhile the Vertical docking station is designed to provide users with instant connection to peripherals.

The final product seen at the show is the Tethered dock-- an accessory designed as an extension of both MacBook Pro and the Vertical docking station. It has an 85W power supply, 3 USB-A ports, 2 Mini DisplayPort ports, SD card slot, ethernet port and audio port, and supports either USB-C or Thunderbolt 3. Construction is in metal, and the angled design allows users to rest the laptop directly on the dock.

Also announced at CES is Henge's promotion to Apple Auhorised Business Solution Provider. This allows the company to bundle its docking solutions with Apple products, bringing about complete workstation setups at discounted price points.

The Tethered docking station is available from March 2017, while the Vertical and Horizontal docks should hit the market by end Q2 2017.
