Razer Updates DeathAdder Gaming Mouse

Razer announces an update of popular DeathAdder gaming mouse from 2006-- the DeathAdder Elite, featuring an upgraded Razer-designed sensor and mechanical mouse switches.

Razer Deathadder EliteThe mouse carries what the company claims is "the world's best optical sensor," the Razer 5G Optical Sensor. It reportedly tracks up to 16000 DPI at 450 IPS, with record resolution accuracy of 99.4%. Meanwhile the mechanical mouse switches come from Omron, and are designed to offer both fast response and a lifetime of 50 million clicks.

In total the DeathAdder Elite features 7 programmable buttons, and the upgraded scroll wheel has DPI buttons just above. As one expects from high-end gaming hardware LED lighting is included, with RGB 16.8 million colour illumination powered and synced via Razer Chroma software offering a variety of moving, cycling, breathing and reactive effects.

The DeathAdder Elite mouse is set to hit the market from October 2016.
