Belkin is the next company to announces another Thunderbolt 3 dock option-- the Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD, an aluminium-clad device featuring a slim tapered design.
Designed to match the aesthetic of Apple laptops, the dock offers a range of ports, including x2 Thunderbolt 3 USB-C, x3 USB-A, x1 DisplayPort, x1 ethernet, x1 audio in/out and x1 audio out. It can handle the daisy-chaining of up to 5 Thunderbolt devices, and offers a 170W power adapter to supply power to attached peripherals while charging a notebook with up to 85W of power.
On the display side it can support either one 5K or two 4K monitors. Data transfer speeds clock up to 40Gb/s.
The Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD is available now in a package complete with a 1m Thunderbolt 3 cable.
