Twelve South announces the HiRise 2-- a revamp of the first HiRise iDevice stand featuring a new design with a heavier body within a smaller overall footprint.
According to the company the increase in weight allows the stand to hold larger devices, such as the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. However it suggests the HiRise 2 is not suitable for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, due to the smaller dimensions. Otherwise every other iDevice is fair game, including the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
Charging is built-in and supports all kinds of Apple devices and accessories, such as the Magic Mouse, Apple REmote and even the AirPods (via charging chase).
The HiRise 2 is available now in two versions-- basic (in black or silver, requires additional Lightning cable) and Deluxe (in black, silver or white, ships with MFI-certified Lightning cable and micro-USB cable).
