HP Refreshes Stream Laptops

HP announces an update of the colourful Stream laptop family-- one featuring internal improvements for current models and the addition of a 14-inch option, the Stream 14.

HP StreamThe Stream 14 replaces the earlier 13-inch Stream model. It offers a 1366x768 resolution display, faster 2x2 802.11ac wifi, 2016-era Celeron processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB flash storage and a battery claiming up to 10 hours 45 minutes of use on a single charge.

Meanwhile, as mentioned earlier, the other members of the laptop family get upgrades-- the Stream 11 features the same faster wifi and processor as the Stream 14. The Stream x360 laptop/tablet hybrid also gets the same upgrade treatment. Customers wanting more storage with their 11.6-inch laptop can get the Stream 11 Pro, an option offering up to 64GB of storage.

The updated Stream 11 ships from August 2016, with the Stream 14 and Stream x360 to follow on September.
